2011 is about to end yet it seems like the exciting things that are happening has no end. The phenomenal growth in the church, the miraculous provision of our needs, the multiplication of leaders, the additional staff. Man! What a God we serve!
Personally, when I think about what God has done in and through my life, I couldn't help but worship Him. You see I'm not a self-made man. I'm a product of grace and grace alone. For all the breakthroughs happening in my life, He alone deserves the credit!
When this year started, I remember asking God to put me in situations where all things that would happen to me, in me and around me will be nothing but miraculous. That way, no human but only God can take credit for what has been done. Looking back, I know now that God answered my prayers.
Thank you for the cross
I would like to thank you Lord for sending your only begotten son, the Lord Jesus Christ to die on the cross and pay the penalty for our sins through which we can celebrate real freedom. On the third day He rose again proving to the world that He is the real deal.
Thank you for my wife
Thank you God for my wife and best friend, Tricia. I couldn't imagine my life and ministry without her. What a tremendous blessing and the perfect partner in everything I do. I still wake up everyday overwhelmed and grateful that God gave me the grace to win her heart four years ago. Lord, give me the grace to never stop pursuing her. Tricia, you are the most important person (in the world) in my life! I love you!
Thank you for my calling
Thank you God for my calling and career as a minister of your Gospel. What a privilege and honor to have the vocation of doing ministry full time! I couldn't ask for more.
Thank you for the staff
Thank God for workmates who are also my friends. Thank you for the privilege of working with some of the finest human beings in the world.
Borg - The anointed and coolest worship director I know
Kyle - The bookworm and celebrity whose grace under pressure in preaching and video production is most amazing!
Adrian - The confident and funny-corny preacher (his jokes are so corny, it'll make you laugh)
Yang - The most reliable and super professional finance officer who is also a competitive achiever
Cla - The committed leader who is always in action overseeing all six weekly services and managing all our awesome volunteers!
Jerry - The outreach machine
Liane - Our very own Jessica Alba and campus minister to the High Schools
Thank you for my family
Thank God for our family. Tricia's parents and mine. Her siblings and mine. We love you guys!
Thank you for the church
I love Victory Elbi! I thank God for the privilege of serving the people of Victory Los Banos. Victory elbi, you are awesome! To all the volunteers, who tirelessly run with us in the vision of honoring God and making disciples, to all those who have stayed with us till the wee hours of the night (during special events) and to those who are working behind the scenes not minding the applause of men but only of God, you are our real heroes. Your involvement makes ministry really really fun. :)
I can't wait to see what God has in store for all of us this 2012! Whatever it is, I bet it's going to be exciting!
